Fuyang Eco Park is located at the end of Fuyang Street in Daan District, Taipei City, covering approximately 3.8 hectares. Originally a military ammunition depot during the Japanese colonial period and post-war era, the park has preserved a rich and intact natural ecosystem due to long-term military control. The park features a small valley terrain with diverse flora and fauna, including 331 plant species such as Cinnamomum kanehirae and Acacia, as well as protected animals like the Taipei tree frog. It offers eight themed areas including ecological waterways, butterfly watching zones, wetlands, and military tunnel relics, making it ideal for family visits and ecological observation. Conveniently located near the MRT Linkou Station, the park is a rare urban green oasis in Taipei, with a summit offering panoramic views of Taipei 101 and the cityscape, blending ecological conservation with recreational use.
